The Atomic Purple Shell
The first customization we have is the atomic purple shell, which is reminiscent of the original Atomic Purple Game Boy Color. This shell is sure to make your Nintendo Switch stand out and look incredibly cool.
LED Buttons
Next up, we have the LED buttons. While initially thinking this would be a simple DIY project, it turned out to be a bit more complicated. We had to carefully connect the LED circuit board to the main circuit board, making sure everything was properly aligned. Connecting the battery proved to be a challenge, but in the end, we successfully completed the LED Joy-Cons.
Thumbstick Covers
One of the easiest ways to customize your Nintendo Switch is by using thumbstick covers. There are so many options available, but for this particular customization, let’s go with Mario for the right thumbstick and a custom design for the left thumbstick. Adding these covers not only enhances the overall aesthetics but also improves grip and control during gameplay.
Putting It All Together
Now that we have all the customized components ready, it’s time to put them together and see the final result. As we assemble the Nintendo Switch, it becomes evident how well everything fits together. The right joy con, the left joy con, and the 3D printed Crystal case all seamlessly come together like pieces in a puzzle. To top it all off, the LED buttons add an extra touch of customization and flair to the overall design.
Customizing your Nintendo Switch is not only a fun and creative process but also allows you to personalize your gaming experience. Whether it’s changing the shell, adding LED buttons, or using thumbstick covers, there are endless possibilities to make your Nintendo Switch truly unique. So go ahead and unleash your creativity, and let your customization skills shine with your very own customized Nintendo Switch.
